On 9 April Carol Bratty who is
the Secretary/Welfare Secretary and the Poppy Appeal Organiser for
Hardwicke & District Branch, did a sponsored Tandem Sky Dive in
aid of the Poppy Appeal

The Jump took place at 29
Regt at South Cerney, the weather was perfect, bright blue sky and
warm sun and very little wind
Carol boarded the aircraft
with her jump instructor Steve Jelf at 9 30am and they climed to
12,000ft and then launched. The whole event was filmed by another
Skydiver called Big Al
By 10am Carol was back on
firm ground wearing the biggest smile you can imagine, her first
comment was "That was fabulous"!!
As a result the Poppy Appeal
is now several hundred pounds better off and funds
are still coming
