Role Descrition for Poppy Appeal
Organiser for The Royal British
Legion
The opportunity:
Are you looking for your first job in the charity sector?
This is an unpaid role, but for anyone wanting to work in the
charity sector this would be an ideal way to gain experience in
fundraising and volunteer management with one of the most respected
and established charities around. This is an invaluable role that
enables The Royal British Legion to continue their work helping
thousands of Service people in need every year.
You would be responsible for ordering poppy stocks,
co-ordinating a team of collectors, receiving the collections,
banking Poppy money and completing Poppy paperwork.
Can you or a team of friends help keep the Appeal growing to
help our Armed Service family?
The work is fun, worthwhile, rewarding and a great addition to
your C.V.
The organisation:
The Royal British Legion's mission is to be the No.1 provider of
welfare, comradeship, representation and Remembrance for the Armed
Forces community. 'Shoulder to shoulder with all who serve', we aim
to ensure that the Armed Forces Community - both those serving and
veterans as well as their families - get the transition and
through-life support they need and the recognition they
deserve.
