Branch of the Year award

Mitcham Branch.

In the last year the branch has transformed in many ways.

The building was left in a urgent need of repair and maintenance after the tenant left. Leaking roof, drains blocked, rotten floors and so much more.

The committee and the few members took on the task of repairing and improving the premises and completed a lot of the work themselves.

The work continues and the branch is continuing to grow and is established in the community.

They hold weekly coffee mornings, drop in sessions, Bingo and regular entertainment.

The branch is used by RBL for training, a band for rehearsal, College for teaching and children’s activities.
