Approximately 40 people attended this event on the 10th June. The Homage was said and a minutes silence was kept in memory of the Royal Naval aircrew who lost their lives in the helicopter crash during the previous week. Kenneth Wright's talk entitled 'Battle of the Somme 110 years on' was both interesting and incisive. The buffet lunch was superb and the raffle raised £195.00. Thanks to all those who attended, special appreciation goes to Tim, Tracy and the team who looked after us so well and of course to Kenneth for the time and effort he obviously puts into the research and preparation for his talk.
