RBL Northamptonshire County are continuing with the War Memorial Competition, whereby Legion branches can nominate an internal or external memorial for the award of a trophy for each category as Best Kept War Memorials 2024.

Legion branches are asked to work closely with their local council so that memorials are suitably maintained and ready for the judging (and Remembrance activities this year) which will take place during September and early October 2024.

Judging will be carried out by members of County Committee who will take into account the condition of the memorial, gardens and flagpoles/flags etc, subject to the judging criteria.  The winners will be announced and the trophies presented at the next RBL Northamptonshire County Conference in January 2025.
