Claines.

RBL Claines is holding a Drumhead Service on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, to commemorate VE Day and are inviting your members to attend. Standards are welcome. A bugler, an Irish Guards Piper, and a Corp of Drums will be involved in the event.

The service will commence at 10.30 and will take place on the Club Car Park, in the event of bad weather conditions the event will be moved inside into the Function Room.  The postal address is Cornmeadow Lane, Worcester WR3 7PL. 

The Club is open to non-RBL members. Refreshments and a Buffet will be available along with a raffle.  On completion there is musical entertainment.

Tenbury Wells and District.

On Thursday May 8th which is VE day, the Tenbury Wells RBL will be at St Mary’s
Church to commemorate the end of WW2 in Europe. At 10.45 am there will be a laying of wreaths followed by a short service in the Church with tea, coffee and cake after the service
All are invited to attend.

In the evening a gathering will be held at the memorial gardens Teme Street By the tenise Courts at

7.30 pm, with Tenbury Town Band playing and the RBL Choir singing, also with tea and coffee

Followed by at 9.30 pm by lighting of the beacon.
Once again all are invited.
