Welcoming new members

It is really important that Branch Committee engage with new members. Membership lists are updated weekly and can be accessed using a RBL Office 365 account. 

Sending out a welcome message as soon as possible is a great start.

Branches across the county have developed a Welcome  Handbook which gives new and current members details about the Branch's activities throughout the year.

Simple things like making new members a name badge will help them feel part of the RBL community and your Branch. Name badges are a great way to help members overcome the fear of meeting new people as well as helping thoughts who find it difficult to remember or recall.
