On 4 May, the Warboys Branch took part in the village May Day Fete with a dedicated stand. Our main aim was to promote the work of the Royal British Legion and, importantly, to remind the community that Warboys has an active local branch.

A key part of the day was engaging with visitors who might be interested in joining us — whether Veterans, serving personnel, or relatives of those who have served. Throughout the event we welcomed a steady stream of people keen to chat about the Legion, share stories, and connect over family links to HM Forces.

We also used the opportunity to support the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Thanks to the generosity of those who stopped by, we raised £65.97 in donations.

It was a successful and enjoyable day, strengthening our presence in the village and building new connections within the community.
