Petts Wood

Petts Wood Branch of The Royal British Legion

Welcome to the Petts Wood Branch

The Petts Wood Branch of the Royal British Legion is part of a national network of over 700 branches bringing people together in the shared cause of Remembrance, welfare and comradeship.

We are one of the UK's largest local branches, with over 527 members drawn from across the Petts Wood community — veterans and non-veterans alike. We exist to honour those who have served, to support those who need us, and to ensure that the sacrifices of the Armed Forces community are never forgotten.

What We Stand For

The Royal British Legion's mission is simple: to Connect, Remember, and Support.

We Connect — bringing together veterans, serving personnel, their families, and the wider community around a shared sense of purpose.

We Remember — leading Remembrance in Petts Wood, keeping alive the memory of all who have served and sacrificed, from the World Wars to the conflicts of today.

We Support — signposting members and veterans to the welfare, financial and emotional support they may need, and ensuring no one in our community faces difficulty alone.
