Poppy Appeal 2024/25  (October 2024 - September 2025)

The 2024/25 Poppy Appeal year was given a fantastic start through proceeds from a quiz night held in the Cotswold Club which raised £263.00 to set the Appeal fund running for the new year. On the Friday evening before the Remembrance weekend, the Minchinhampton Local History Group held an event in the Market House which helped raise a further £819.60 to add to the tally.

Collections during the Poppy Appeal period, including house-to-house, street and church / schools / business collections, raised £5204.50

The Branch QR code, which enables people within the community to donate to the local Branch Appeal online using a mobile phone, helped us raise an additional £174 through this means.

Our thanks go to all those involved in collecting door to door in Minchinhampton and Box, and in the street on the middle weekend of the period. Special mention goes to the Minchinhampton Scout Group leaders and members who gave their time to collect for us on the Saturday morning. Thanks also to all the local schools and businesses in Minchinhampton, Box and Amberley who do a magnificent job in promoting our cause amongst their staff, visitors, pupils and customers.

At the end of September 2025, the Branch Poppy Appeal total stood at £6186.32
