2026 Liskeard RBL V.E. Day Commemoration

There was a fitting turn out on Sunday 10th May 2026 at 14.00hrs to mark V E Day with wreaths being laid at Liskeard War Memorial.
The service was led by Rev Mark Wade along with Warwick Belfitt and Kevin Grant.
Seven standards were on parade and wreaths were laid by the Mayor on behalf of the Liskeard Residents, Chrissie Henwood Chair of the Branch, Marie Belfitt Chair of the RNA Branch, Wilf Jolley (Merchant Navy), Susan Shand (Quarnns), and Jane Pascoe and Kevin Grey for Cornwall Council.
Representatives of the youth uniformed organisations were also present and the Last Post played by Steve Ayers of Liskeard Silver Band.
We Will Remember them.
