Having done the Legion's "Poppy Possy London” in 2017 along with about 27 other cyclists, in April 2024 I figured that as a "Guided Ride Leader" under British Cycling, I might replicate it - once a month and as shown above - with my own version since I'm obliged to lead at least 8 such rides per year to keep my certification valid.

This webpage is my best effort to publish the route (that’s a link to the .gpx file), the points of interest we pass (see below), their links to their Wikipedea page (if they have one) and some photos of them. But please note - the route, and the points of interest, seem to keep growing!

If you were to download and push the .gpx file into your bike satnav, will lead you most of the way. There are a few curious parts where it won't expect you to go the way we do - exiting south off Holborn to get to Lincolns Inn Fields is one. There may be others.
