Sudbury

30th October 2021 was the official launch for the Poppy Appeal. It took place at the town hall with the Mayor launching the appeal at 11.00am.

Collectors were in the Town with Poppies and lapel Pins.

Our Branch Gazebo was also fully manned opposite the Town Hall selling various Poppy items and 100 year RBL pins, as well as The Sudbury Branch Centenary Coasters.

Volunteers have been out in force in various supermarkets and around the town in all weathers and temperatures.

Many thanks to everyone who has helped organise, volunteered as a collector or contributed in any way and those generous people of Sudbury who have once again donated to this worthwhile cause.

The Ormiston Academy also produced a special online Remembrance Festival which included performances, a history of the war memorial in Sudbury and a tribute to our former Branch Chairman, PAO and friend Stuart Hume.

The performance is available to view via the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fn2dFzqnEfI

Our thanks and gratitude to Leo Cox and his fantastic team in their continued support of the RBL in Sudbury.
