Pawlett

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

The Pawlett Branch supports the service in the local churches, and provides the standard bearers for the Branch standards. See the photo gallery for soem pictures.

As well as the church services, we visit Pawlett Junior School every year to discuss Remembrance with the students, and hold a small competition for pictures or poetry which is Remembrance-related.
