Everyman Remembered - A Royal British Legion Flagship Project

The Royal British Legion flagship project 'Everyman Remembered' encourages the British public to commemorate a fallen serviceman or woman so that all 1.1 million fallen Commonwealth Service personnel are remembered by 2018.

The project came about as a result of a letter from a 14-year-old girl. Gemma, who contacted the Royal British Legion following a battlefield tour of France and Belgium expressed concern that so many people had no one left to remember them.

'Iknow that not everyone can be remembered as individuals, but I felt it was a shame for some people to have dozens of poppies and crosses while others had no one left to remember them.'

The Royal British Legion is asking all Branches to get involved. Is there someone from the Bicester area or family that you would like to commemorate? The Bicester and District Branch of the Royal British Legion would like your help to promote the following site so that we can make sure every person can be commemorated:
