Women's Section Delegates

Delegates

All branches as long as there meet the criteria of having submitted their information on time.

1) Branch Accounts by 30th September
2) MS1 Form by the 31st December

You may send a delegate and visitors to conference.
However, if you don't meet the criteria you may still attend as a visitor.

 Conferences

Your delegate and visitors can attend both Conferences:

1) Women's Section Annual General Meeting held in January.
2) Royal British Legion Annual National Conference held in May.

Motions

If you think that we can bring about change to improve the way we deliver welfare to our beneficiaries or bring about change to our rules and procedures.

Then you need to submit a Motion for change.
The motion will need to be submitted by the 1st December to our MSO: women@britishlegion.org.uk

How to submit a motion to the Women's Section for change.

The motion will then be put to the vote at The Women's Section AGM in January.

If it is successful then it will be passed to the Royal British Legion Conference Chairman for them to include as a motion in their Annual National Conference voting.
If the motion is voted for then it will be then passed on to the Board of Trustees for them to make a decision.
