Hello,

I'm Rachel Wilkins and have recently been appointed as the Membership Engagement Officer (MEO) for the Women's Section and National Branches.  

In 2016 I moved to the North East to marry my husband Mike and for the last few years I have been working for the NHS at the local hospital as a Volunteer and Work Experience Coordinator. 

Before this I worked for the MOD at RAF Odiham as a Community and Youth Worker for 13 years. 
I really enjoyed my time at Odiham and since then have felt an affinity for the Service Community.
I have always wanted to return to work for an organisation that supports the Armed Forces Community and was delighted to gain employment with the Royal British Legion. 

Outside of work I love to spend time with my family who live in Chester and my friends who live all over the country!
Mike and I both enjoy attending music events and have several concerts booked for this year.
I also like being outdoors and enjoy gardening and walking. 

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the Annual Conference this year but hope to be able to meet you all soon at other events.
