Festival of Remembrance: Saturday 11th November

The Festival of Remembrance is a commemorative event dedicated to all those that have served and sacrificed from Britain and the Commonwealth.

The event at The Royal Albert Hall will be broadcast on BBC One at 9pm.

You will be able to follow along with a digital version of the Festival of Remembrance programme on our website which will be available on the day.

Remembrance Sunday: Sunday 12th November

The National Service of Remembrance, held at The Cenotaph in Whitehall on Remembrance Sunday, provides the nation with a physical reminder of all those who have served and sacrificed, with British and Commonwealth soldiers, sailors, airmen and women represented, together with members of the emergency services and civilians, ensuring that no-one is forgotten.

A Two Minute Silence will be observed at 11am, followed by the National Service of Remembrance including the Veteran March Past.

You can watch or listen to the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph on BBC One and BBC Radio 4.

The NMA will also be holding their annual Remembrance Sunday Service of Remembrance. It’s free to attend and will take place at the base of the Armed Forces Memorial. The Service will also be shown on a large screen in Heroes' Square.

Virtual Field of Remembrance

Our Virtual Field of Remembrance commemorates the lives of those who have served with the British Armed Forces. Take a moment to honour those who have fallen.

You can also help share the message by guiding friends, family and contacts to our website or social media pages. There they will find lots of ways to get involved.
