Remembrance is that special time when the Royal British Legion concentrates its efforts to raise as much money as possible to help assist our Beneficiaries.

This vital work carried out by the Legion in support of serving soldiers, veterans and their families is only possible because of the generous donations of the general public to The Poppy Appeal. With many thousands of British expatriates living in Spain, a significant number of whom are themselves veterans or dependants, the majority of the money raised in Spain is actually spent here in support of those in need. 

If you support the Poppy Appeal YOU make it possible for the Legion to help the Armed Forces, past, present and their families. We provide 1.6 million pounds every week in direct welfare support - that´s over 83 million pounds each year - and respond to over 170,000 calls a year for practical help, advice and support, worldwide.

You are also showing your support of the Armed Forces community and all that it stands for. And you are assured that the Legion will use its resources carefully and work together with other Service charities and Welfare providers to get the best outcome for the people that matter, our Beneficiaries.

In 2023 Spain South raised €48,905.
