• 20 Jul 25 - County Committee Meeting (Face-2-Face) - venue TBC County Committee Members Only
• 20 Jul 25 - Articles from Chair, CPM, CTO, CRO, PAM and MEO to be sent to Secretary for inclusion in the Aug edition of the County Newsletter
• 01 Aug 25 – April Edition of the County Newsletter to be published
• 07 Sep 25 – Standard Bearer Training 0930-1100hrs Stanton Harcourt Village Hall
• 30 Sep 25 - Last date for submission of Branch Accounts to MEO (although 31st August preferred if at all possible).
• 01 Oct – 30 Nov 25 – Branch Annual General Meetings to be held between these dates. MS1/MS1B/MS1CSB to be completed. (Branches Note: MS1B must be completed in addition to MS1 or MS1CSB otherwise Branch and Standard Bearer not compliant)
• 05 Oct 25 – Standard Bearer Training 0930-1100hrs Stanton Harcourt Village Hall

Legion in the Community

The Royal British Legion plays an active role in the local community, and we rely on the help of our members to carry out our work in their local areas. There are many ways people can help and become involved, and it is essential to our work for the serving and ex-Service community.

To raise public awareness of what the Legion does in our community and encourage more people to get involved with the welfare and membership activities of the Legion, we participate in various events and activities such as:

County Shows
Local Fetes/Fairs
Open Evenings
Concerts
Armed Forces Day
Attending Carnivals, Military Air Shows & Military Open Days.

If you have an event planned then please let the Membership Support Officer know all about it and we will ensure it is put into the County Calendar and reported on the County web-page.
