75th Anniversary of VE/VJ on Saturday 13th June 2020

Message from our County President Eric Ingram

I am pleased to inform those members wishing to attend the 75th Anniversary of VE/VJ that we have been able to get the services of a WW2 Field Kitchen to provide a meal from a WW2 recipe. A meal will be provided free of charge to the following:

TRBL members and their guests (including standard bearers)

WW2 veterans

Staff assisting with running the event (mainly cadets & bands)

Timings to follow but likely to be around 5pm. This will enable those who are travelling from branches to have something to eat before the cocktail party, also those who are attending TRBL Seminar that day. The cost remains £10 per ticket for members but now includes a meal, make sure you book places before 27th March. 

Membership Meet-Up Event

THIS EVENT HAS NOW REGRETTABLY BEEN CANCELLED BECAUSE OF COVID 19

Haig House host this event with subject matter experts however, it’s a very informal event and open to all members. We would like to  encourage as many as possible to attend. Each individual must register themselves using the online link. This can not be done by our County MSO Kenneth, however, Kenneth would like to know who will be attending from each Branch and what their interest would be, just so that he has an idea of numbers for the day. Could you please email Kenneth before April 30th

Any kind of question is invited, be that of general information or specific questions, perhaps Branch finances, or BCS for example. Informal workshops will be held on certain subjects, details yet to be confirmed but possibly based on the requirements from registration or what you feed back to me.

This will be an excellent opportunity to meet the Haig House Team, ask whatever questions you have in mind and mingle with fellow branch members from across the county. Please click the booklet for more information about the day
