National Poppy Appeal 2024

We want you to be the first to know that we have the final figures in for the Poppy Appeal 2024.

Together you raised a total of £51.4 million for Poppy Appeal 2024!

Just to put this incredible figure into context, this is a whopping £1.1 million more than we had raised

at this date last year!  We know this just couldn't happen without you, and your teams of tireless volunteers. We'd love you to pass on our thanks and we'd urge you to share this amount with them, together with our THANK YOU video to you all.

Here's a reminder of how some of your hard-earned fundraising has transformed lives since 2023.

  • Case worker support: we’ve helped over 22,000 people through welfare difficulties.
  • Later life care: offering aid, companionship and dignity to 781 residents in our care homes.
  • Support independence: £2.3m spent on mobility needs.
  • Securing essentials like food and clothing: £1.5m spent in urgent grants.
  • Promoting Recovery through the Arts: over 300 participants on this programme.
  • Alleviating financial difficulty: £4.7m in debt relief secured.
  • Providing grants to those in need: since October 2023, we’ve given 22,682 grants, distributing £12.3m to the Armed Forces community.
