Dungannon/Moy Branch Centenary Drumhead Service
The Dungannon/Moy Branch of the Royal British Legion is celebrating its centenary through a Drumhead Service on Sunday, 10th September 2023, in Dungannon town centre.
The Branch Chairman, David Cuddy BEM, encourages all members of the Royal British Legion and Regimental Associations across the island of Ireland to attend the event to support the Branch.
As with other towns, Dungannon lost the ‘youth of their generation’ in World War One, more of their youth in World War Two, and in conflicts after that.
The District Officers of the Royal British Legion Northern Ireland will be attending.
During the Drumhead Service, the town's War Memorial will be rededicated.
