We will remember at Grangegorman, Dublin

On Thursday, 9th November 2023, the Claddagh Branch of the Royal British Legion will hold its annual remembrance ceremony at the Grangegorman Military Cemetery in Dublin. The event will start at 11 am. Everyone is welcome.

Grangegorman Military Cemetery is the largest military cemetery in Ireland. A stone's throw from the Phœnix Park, it was opened in 1876 and contains graves of personnel from both the World Wars as well as of some of the British soldiers who died in the Easter Rising in 1916. 

Mature trees and well-maintained lawns cast a sombre and reflective atmosphere over this restful place.
