The Killester Garden Village Memorial Committee has announced that its book, “Killester Garden Village: the lives of Great War Veterans and their Families”, will be officially launched on Saturday, 26th August, 2023 at 12 pm at Middle Third Green at their Centenary Community day. They will have 400 copies available on the day after the official launch. 

The book tells the stories of the Great War veterans and families who lived in the 289 homes for heroes in The Demesne, Middle Third, Abbeyfield, and The Orchard, within Killester.
