At the Ledbury RBL Committee Meeting of Wednesday 4th March 2015, Wg Cdr Don Rule MBE was presented with a County Certificate of Appreciation by the Ledbury Chairman, Mr Ian M.G Stephens.

The certificate of appreciation was awarded by the Herefordshire County Committee as a mark of sincere appreciation of valuable services in safe guarding the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or have served in the armed forces.

On Saturday 17th January 2015  the Royal British Legion held their Annual Conference at the Town Hall in Hereford.  For the fourth year in a row the Ross-On-Wye Branch were awarded the Kyrle Pope Cup which is presented to the most efficient branch in the County.  Jason Chester (Little Marcle) was awarded first place in the Standard Bearers Competition with Richard Ceci the Ross-On-Wye Standard Bearer placed second. Richard has been invited to represent Herefordshire by carrying the County Standard at the Service of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
