NATIONAL AWARDS

Congratulations to two of our County Branches who distinguished themselves at Annual Conference by winning prestigious National Awards. The Lister Trophy for Progress and Efficiency in a small branch was awarded to Bromyard Branch and The Haig Cup for Progress and Efficiency in a large branch was awarded to Ross-on-Wye Branch. This is a wonderful achievement and those Branch members should be justifiably proud of themselves so well done for a great team effort!

Formal award presentations were made by The Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Mr Edward Harley OBE on 12th October 2020 at Hereford Cathedral.

In addition to her Branch being awarded the Lister Trophy, Mrs Brodie-Murphy is holding a (personal) County Certificate of Appreciation awarded for having made a conspicuous contribution to the Royal British Legion at County level.
