The Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester's 2011 Cadet Poppy Awards

The above award took place on Tuesday 6th March 2012 at University Barracks, Boundary Lane, Manchester.  This was to mark the hard work and dedication the Cadets have put in to collect for the Poppy Appeal.

The year ended 2010 for the Poppy Appeal the Cadets raised a magnificent sum of £134,965.34 but for the year ended 2011 the total had risen to a staggering £156,758.68.  Every year the Cadets excel themselves and the awards are a small way of showing them how much they are valued.
