At 1pm Cheltenham townsfolk joined borough councillors at a civic service to commemorate the 70th anniversary of VJ Day on Saturday August 15 in Cheltenham Minster. Standards from the RBl and other Associations were paraded. After the service Veterans mingled with the congregation for a buffet.
