We are all incredibly sorry to see Una, County MSO/County Secretary, finally leaving the Kendal Office on Friday 30 October 2015.

In Una's last Branch Communication she says:

It’s GOODBYE from me!

My 2 years and 2 months in Membership has been an interesting, challenging and enjoyable time. I take with me some very fond memories.

I particularly valued your support and understanding when I was learning the ropes and have never lost sight of how important YOU are to the Legion.

I wish you all well in your continued endeavours to support the good work of the Royal British Legion.

I have been so touched by the kind and generous words I have received  since notifying you of my departure.

On her penultimate day pesentations of gifts, flowers and cards were made by Marcus Hawthorn. Also present were Tony Crane, Mike Rowney, Alan Whitemore, Sarah Fitzpatrick plus attendees of the Branch Officers' Workshop which was taking place at Kendal.
