2020 Naming Crantock War Horse

Naming the Crantock War Horse took place on Saturday 24th October 2020.
Alariah Benney aged 8 won a book token for the naming the horse Kenneth after her great grandfather Kenneth Benney who served in the WW2 and came home safely to Crantock.
The runners up were brother and sister Reuben and Eilwen Jones.
The whole display consists of 7,500 kitted poppies.
The project was led by Crantock WI and poppies were knitted by locals and holiday makers all through lockdown and beyond.
Donations to the Poppy Appeal are being popped through the secure letter box of the Memorial Hall.
