The January 2024 Bodmin Annual Poppy Appeal awards presented by Bodmin RBL in conjunction with Bodmin Town Council held at the Bodmin Keep, (known as Cornwall’s Army Museum).
Two of RAF St. Mawgan recognised by the Bodmin RBL Branch and Bodmin Town Council. WO Si Damms and FS Dave Hardy were awarded Certificates of Appreciation for their exceptional work in supporting Bodmin's Remembrance parade, and FS Hardy's work with 2533 (Bodmin) Sqn Air Cadets.
Branch Chairman, Derek Coad, said "We are delighted that the town would like to recognise the work of Bodmin's Parade Commander, WO Damms, and FS Hardy. Together they have been instrumental in cementing our parade as Cornwall's premier Remembrance Sunday event."
RAF St Mawgan's personnel are proud to be part of our fantastic Cornish community, and it's always great to be able to support the region with events that mean so much to the wider Service family.
