In Hertfordshire, our County Standard Bearer training takes place at
Symonds Green Community Association Hall, Filey Close, Stevenage, SG1 2JW
on the first Friday of each month - except August and November.
To show what happens, we recorded a session on the 1st December 2023; take a look here - we replicated the drill movements in all RBL Standard Bearer competitions.
Tony Cousins, Herts County Parade Marshall giving the orders; Stuart Clarke, Leighton Buzzard Branch nearest and Paul Harding, Herts County Standard Bearer (carrying the National Cyclists Branch Standard) furthest from the camera, and on the camera no less than Geoffrey Fisher, past Herts County Parade Marshall.
