Founded in 1826, C W Pittard was a major employer in the Glove Making Factory in both Yeovil and the UK. However, the business went into administration in 2023.

it is not known if the Oak Plaque (registered with the IWM) dedicated to the 3 employees, HC Blake, WA Philips and HC Purchase 1914-1918 and employees, W Bagwell, SF Davies, RAE Eastment, RS Hawkins and EG Northham, 1939-1945 Conflicts still resides within the premises or has been removed for safe keeping?
