2025 Speaker, Visits & Events Programme

We are still planning our 2025 speaker programme. We hope to be able to hear from the following in the coming year :

10th March 2025 - Neil Mack - VE Day in Surrey

12th May 2025 - WW1 Christmas Day Truce 1914

Visits & Events

Wednesday 9th April 2025 - Visit to the National Memorial Arboretum, cost £25, departing the Sun Inn, Windlesham at 8.30 and due back at 18.30.  Two places remaining, contact Linda Booth. 

Sunday 8th June 2025, 2.30pm - Paul McCue - A guided tour of Brookwood Cemetery – cost £2.00 for tea and cake (only 20 places available).

Monday 9th June 2025 – Annual Dinner to take place at the Brickmaker’s Arms @ 7.30.  If interested please let Linda Booth know to be added to the list.  The cost and menu will be sent out in due course.

Saturday 14th June 2025 - Windlesham Fete - Field of Remembrance.  Donations of Books (preferably recent paperback fiction) and Drinks gratefully accepted 

Monday 1th August 2025 - Mr Paul McCue - Visit to RMA Sandhurst and Guided Tour
