The Whitwell & District Branch celebrated its 100th anniversary on 19 February 2024 and now proudly displays the Centenary Pennant alongside our Branch Standard.
We celebrated the 100th birthday of one of our members who also took part in the D Day Landings. His wife also celebrated her 100th birthday one week later and they have been married for 78 years. A proud moment for them both.
In other news, we have two commonwealth graves at All Saints Church, St Pauls Waldenbury.
