We were invited to attend The Vintage Tea Party on the 19^th May, held at the United Reform Church Hall in Stamford. The event organiser, Lucy Clare, asked us to join her and her friends and donated all proceeds to the Royal British Legion Stamford Branch.

There was a lot to do - from face painting and a tombola to dancing and a great performance from Aint Misbehavin'. Our very own Legion member, Joyce, even got up for a sing song (and got a mighty round of applause!).

Lucy wants to organise The Vintage Tea Party every season and has asked if the Legion will help out again and take the proceeds of future events. A big thank you to all our volunteers on the day and of course to The Vintage Tea Party Society for inviting us and for being so generous in their donations to the Legion!
