Stalybridge

The parade will assemble on Armentieres Square by 10.25am, departing at 10.35am. for the War Memorial on Trinity Street for the Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony commencing at 10.55am.  The Parade will proceed via Grosvenor Street, Melbourne Street, Market Street, King Street, and Waterloo Road. The parade is usually led by the Stalybridge Old band.  At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Parade will return to Armentieres Square via Trinity Street.  Light refreshments, courtesy of Tameside Council, will be served inside the Civic Hall for those taking part.  Veterans unable to take part in the Parade should gather at the War Memorial by 10.50am.

Dukinfield

The Parade will assemble at the Town Hall, King Street, by 2.30pm, departing at 2.45pm. for the War Memorial at the top of Chapel Hill for the Remembrance Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony commencing at 3.00pm.  The Parade will proceed via King Street, Astley Street and Crescent Road.  The Parade is usually led by the Adamson Military Band.  At the conclusioin of the ceremony, the Parade will return to the Town Hall via Chapel Street.  Light refreshments will be served inside the Town Hall, courtesy of Tameside Council, for all those taking part.  Veterans unable to take part in the Parade should gather at the War Memorial by 2.50pm.

A decision was made many years ago to stagger the timings of the Remembrance Day Services throughout the borough to enable civic leaders and other public servants to be able to attend more than one ceremony.
