The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

There is always an informal gathering at 11am on 11th November at the Cross in front of the War Memorial.
The official parade will be on Remembrance Sunday starting at 10.50am at the Cross in front of the War Memorial with Standards displayed. The parade will be followed by a service of remembrance in the Parish Church of Saint John the Baptist and refreshments at Branch Headquarters.
