The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian
of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day
traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their
lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
We have an act of Remembrance at 11.00am on 11th November every
year at the War Memorial in the high street.

On Rememberance Sunday we have a service of remembrance with the
laying of wreaths at the war memorial, followed by a march to St
Marys Church for a service of remembrance.

After the service there is then a march to the Town Square.
