The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.
Rugeley's Remembrance Sunday service and parade start at St Augustines Church at 9.15am for the Remembrance Service.
The parade musters at Mansefield House car park at 10.30am and marches off at approx. 10.40am.
The Act of Remembrance takes place at the War Memorial on Anson Street at 11am.
After the wreath laying the parade marches to Olly's Bar, Bow Street.
