Nationally, we: Answered 206,626 requests for help in 2014 via our three lines of support - online knowledge base, free phone contact centre and personal contact via Pop-in centres and outreach services. In 2012 we spent £84 million on beneficiary services - that's £1.6 million every week. We spent £21.5 million in 2013 running our care homes and break centres. In 2013 we supported almost 26,000 beneficiaries through grant giving with £14.3 millionof individual grants awarded. 589 people received Employment Grants totalling £748,990 through our Civvy Street programme in 2012. We provide over 400 residential spaces in our six Care Homes, including four with specialised wings for those suffering from dementia. 95% of local authorities in England and 100% in Scotland and Wales have joined the Community Covenant Scheme. 320,000 members support the Legion in 2,445 branches around the UK and a further 88overseas. We've continued to support our commmitment of £50 million over 10 years to help serving men and women who are wounded, injured or sick. The money is being used to develop and run the Battle Back Centre, an adaptive sports facility in Shropshire and to fund the operating costs of four Personnel Recovery Centres in the UK and a Personnel Recovery Unit in Germany. The facilities are part of the MoD's Defence Recovery Capability initiative, delivered in partnership with Help for Heroes and The Royal British Legion, alongside other Service charities and agencies. In 2012 we received 250 requests to trace former comrades through Lost Trails. The TV audience for the 2013 Festival of Remembrance was 6 million. We have over 55,000 Legion followers on Twitter. 2,000 volunteers took to the streets for London Poppy Day in 2013 collecting a record breaking total of £1 million in one day.
