Redcar's Garden of Remembrance is undergoing some improvements. Following the installing of new gates, the remaining gable end of where the Zetland Club once stood has been transformed into an amazing mural. With the assistance of local businesses and the talent of local artist Drew Allan, all three branches of the armed forces are represented, as well as the Royal British Legion. The mural was completed in time for this years scaled back Remembrance Sunday service.
