The Portishead RBL Branch serves Portishead and its surrounding areas.

Our role is Social, Fundraising and Welfare for Ex-Service personnel and supporters.

THIRD TUESDAY of the MONTH at 7pm - 8.30pm at the RBL BOWLS CLUB

Bowls Pavilion, Lake Grounds, Portishead, North Somerset, BS20 7HZ

Wetherspoons, Harbour Road, BS20 7QZ

Ex-Service personnel will be especially welcomed. 

Just turn up and ask for the British Legion party to enjoy a chat with breakfast or coffee.

Got your HM Armed Forces Veteran Card ?

The new Veteran ID card provides a memento of service and signifies your belonging to the Armed Forces community. It allows you to easily verify your Service, to receive Benefits and Discounts at the NHS, your local authority, transport, military charities, etc. Register it with your doctor.

If not, go to the Govt website - https://www.gov.uk/veteran-card - to apply and get details of the benefits.

Remembering D-Day 80 years on  6 June 2024 marks 80 years since the D-Day landings, the largest amphibious operation in history, which marked the beginning of the liberation of France and Western Europe. Portishead Ceremonial Event 6th June @ 11.30am - Portishead Lifeboat Station

The Royal British Legion is the ecUK's leading Armed Forces charity and one of its largest membership organisations. Members get together through the network of branches and clubs all over the country and overseas to participate in social, fundraising and welfare activities.
