Poppy People

We are seeking help with the poppy appeal at Iceland, Vera. In order to follow social distancing rules , it is possible to have a volunteer with a tray of poppies outside the store. If you can help for a few hours -with a partner is best-from 26Th October through to 7th November.

Anyone interested in helping in the next Poppy Appeal should contact our Poppy Appeal Organiser  Nick Allbeury (mojacar.committee1@rbl.community)

This involves distributing Poppy Collection Boxes to restaurants & shops locally during October. These are collected after Remembrance Sunday.  We cover a large area and therefore "many hands make light work".  Please give us your support.  If you believe you know of any new venue which would benefit from having a Poppy Box then please let Andrew know.   In addition we have larger Collection Boxes which can be used throughout the year.

Small Poppy Boxes for personal collection of loose change are available at our Meetings. Filled boxes may be brought to meetings.  All these donations add up to our annual total.
