The Branch were invited to visit Somerset Legion House at Weston-Super-Mare on 3rd September to review the facilities. The coach left Minchinhampton at 1000 and returned at 1800. Before the visit the Branch had lunch of fish and chips in one of the seaside restaurants. There was also time to visit the pier and some of the attractions. Following the tour of Somerset Legion House the Branch made a donation of £231 to their welfare fund. The facility is of the highest standard and caters for those in need of a break. The rooms are spacious and are designed such that those with physical disability are able to enjoy the facilities to the full.
