This will be followed by a parade, starting at 10.15, to St Peter & St Paul's church, where there will be a short civic service starting at 10.40am including a 2 minute silence at 11am.
The route taken will be : Rosemary St, Westfield Lane, West Gate, Market Place & Church St.
After the service the parade will reform for a march past in the Market Place at 12 noon for a final mark of respect & where a Deputy Lord Lieutenant will take the salute.
All veterans and serving personnel are welcome!
Armistice Day has been observed every year since 1919 with a two-minute silence.
Held each year at 11am on 11 November, the silence coincides with the time in 1918 at which the First World War came to an end and is observed at war memorials and in public places throughout the UK and Commonwealth.
Short services will be held at the Old Town Memorial & Teardrop Memorial in Carr Bank Park at 11am.
