RBL Malta Christmas Gala Dinner & Dance

The Hon. President, Chairman and Committee of the Royal British Legion (Malta GC Branch) cordially invite you to the Christmas Gala Dinner and Dance, under the patronage of the Deputy British High Commissioner Mr. Tristan Gilchrist. All proceeds will go towards the Poppy Appeal Fund of the RBL Malta Branch in support of our ex-servicemen and their dependants in need in Malta.

We will be entertained by the splendid Armed Forces of Malta band. A raffle will be held towards the end of the evening.

Date: Saturday 7th December 2024 | 7.30pm for 8:00pm

Venue: The Pavilion Suite, Westin Dragonara Resort, St. Julian’s

All-Inclusive Price: €75.00 per member | €80.00 per non member

Cancellations: Cancellations made 24 hours before the event will get a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the event will not get refunded.

Dress code: Black tie / Lounge suit

On the occassion of our Christmas gala dinner and dance which was held in aid of the poppy appeal fund on Saturday 7th December, we are honoured to have received a message from Mr Jesmond Saliba, Commissioner for Voluntary and Non-Profit Organisations

Local Cheese lets

Fried fresh goat cheese, onion relish, fig chutney

oven dried cherry tomatoes, crispy local sour bread

 

Intermediate

Porcini cappelletti

black truffle cream and pecorino shavings

 

Main Course

(A) Pan Roasted Meager

Classic minted kapunata, cold aubergine caviar, thyme fondant potatoes, prawn jus

OR

(B) Grilled Rib-eye of Veal

mushroom ragout, potato gratin, butternut pumpkin puree, thyme port jus

OR

(C) Turkey Ballontine

wrapped in bacon, Roasted Potato, buttered brussel sprouts, cranberry jus

OR

(D) For guests with dietary requirements such as vegetarians, vegans, or any food intolerances, kindly advise so we may prepare something accordingly.
