Remembrance

The Royal British Legion is recognised as the national custodian of Remembrance.

Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

Remembrance Day  -  Venues & Times

Sunday 11 November 

  Memorial Gates, Malmesbury, 10.00am.

Lynch Gate, Crudwell, 10.45am.

Sherston, 10.45am.

Malmesbury Abbey, 2.30pm.

Our Branch Members attend services held in the following Churches on Remembrance Sunday.

 These are complemented with small wreath laying ceremonies at the Silk Mills Memorial Garden and at the Triangle Memorial Stone Cross, both within the Town boundary.
