Sunday 12th November 2023 – Remembrance Sunday Commemorations
1000 - Meet at Lurgan and Brownlow Clubrooms for 1015 parade to the War Memorial – led by the Lurgan Salvation Army Band
1030 – Wreath Laying commences – First Wreath to be laid by Mr Richard Hamilton-Stubber DL, His Majesty’s Vice Lord Lieutenant for the County of Armagh
1057 - 1103 – Last Post; Two Minute Silence; Reveille
1120 – Wreath Laying Ends
1125 – Parade Reforms and moves to the Jethro Centre for the Remembrance Service
1145 – 1245 – Remembrance Sunday Service led by Archdeacon Mark Harvey, Rector, Shankill Parish Church
1300 – Refreshments served in the Clubrooms. NB…there will be no return parade.
1830 (6:30 pm) – Remembrance Meeting in the Lurgan Salvation Army Citadel.
